For me the best part of the game is clearly the player career feature. And I think this part could be massively enhanced in order to give you more the feeling of actually being a footballer.
By example it would be good to know before each match what the coach expect from the team ("Today a draw would be good enough against those, we'll play mostly defensively") and also from you ("Take any chance to go forward and support our attack").
Another example is that when you're getting an offer from an other club it would be good to know what you current team think about it. Would they be happy to get rid of you or are they counting on you for the future ?
These are only two examples I'm thinking of at the moment but there are surely a lot more (what the fans think of you would be another).
