hey mate, nice you done english league, i prefer italian, but anyway... i must said something.. i went to arsenal, to how you made ratings... and i saw pires has got 100% speed.. then i said to myself, how much henry has got? he has got 99%. then i went to berkamp, he had 100%!!! thats too much for that old guy. then i went to mun utd.. rud has got about 97%, then i clicked on roy keane, he has got 100%!!
what i am trying to say... can you just low speed on some players?

ok.. henry should have around 100%, but berkamp is around 70-76 then.. and kean around 80%... pires around 85-90... i didnt wach rest of the ratings, just speed, and it dont need to be so perfect, but this was obvios mistakes, i think.
SORRY ABOUT my english, i hope you know what i am trying 2 say.

the data was written before Andreas changed the way speed is defined in the edit files, I'm sorry! most world class players have speed above 95% unless you write "speed = ---". I will fix this once Andreas has fully fixed the attribute system!

apologies anyway, but it's impossible to define precisely what skills you want the players to have, and the program's approximation on some attributes (speed and aggression most notably) is currently poor (despite a recent update).

(although on my last few tests, Bergkamp came out at 70-75% speed, which is fine :D )

Keane has "speed = -", but because his overall rating is huge, he still comes out with 95-100% speed! try changing Manchester United.txt and giving Keane "speed = ---" as a short term solution.

my international file will be here soon, so there will be lots of foreign clubs and players available and nationalities will appear correctly.

mate, like i told you, youve done great job... when and if program gets better, change that, if you can. i cant wait your italia patch.i dont care if ratings are not similiar to my opinion, just speed is obvios, lol. (and i dont hate berkamp, really)..

international file is next week, although this only has 10 Serie A clubs (and 438 other clubs!!! including Osijek - and absolutely no fantasy players other than youth players generated by the game). soon after, I will expand to include Serie A, Serie B and the top two Spanish divisions. not long to wait :)

mate... thats great... i am playing championship manager, since 1992.. so i am pretty good with european database. especially italian and croatian... so, if you need any help... here is my mail adress(matejdalmatin99@yahoo.com), and i will scout clubs and players for you. i can scout france, spain, italian, and croatian clubs, without prob.. and i can give you their correct ratings, similiar like in CM.
