Andreas,
I thought it would be great if people posted more of their best highlights for others to see.

I wanted to show off some of my questionable "skills" and hopefully get some good responses.

I could not figure out how to post a replay file, without using a link from a separate page. Am I missing something simple, or is it not possible to post a file on the forum? Thanks

No, it's currently only possible with a seperate page. If that's not possible I can upload the files manually (but only highlights). Send them via email and I'll send you the links back. In the case that you don't have my email address send me a short mail using 'Contact' in the menu bar on the left side and I'll send you a short mail back so that you get my email address.

Greetings,
Andreas

Andreas,
I appreciate your quick response and willingness to help. I feel that I will create a lot of extra work for you by asking you to post my replays. My general idea was to get as many responses as possible, but that seems like a great inconvenience since anyone responding has to individually ask you to post their replay.
On the other hand, if you don't mind all the extra work, maybe starting a new topic where people would post their replays would be a good idea. I feel that it may be useful to new members or visitors, as it would show off the capabilities of the game better, possibly making for a good advertisement. Please share your thoughts on this matter. Thanks

PS Also, if you did want to consider this as an advertisement idea, maybe it would be worth converting a few of the replays to video files (using HyperCam for example) making them easier to view for potential AOCS buyers (you could put a couple on your front page or something like that)...

Yes, I know and I agree. But it's a matter of time. I think it's better to use the time for developing the game and not for web interfaces :)

Another problem is - even if it's an automated process to upload replays, I always have to take a look at the files that they don't contain a virus or anything else than the replay.

Greetings,
Andreas
