Andreas,

Can you tell us a little about when playing a career either as a player or player-manager, does the computer make changes to the other computer controlled teams even when they have players that have been defined in the teams folder? In other words, if I have a team and all of the players on that team are listed in a .txt file in the teams folder, will the computer make changes to that team when a new season begins? Like maybe some new signings or some transfers in or out? Or, will I have to make any necessary edits to the roster (mannschaft) myself?

What about if I am using only fictitious players? Will the computer teams then change some of their players from one season to the next?

The reason I am asking is to help me decide whether to have all of my players defined for each team or whether to leave it to fictitious players.

What about if only a few players are defined in a team's text file? I know that you say the computer will randomly generate the rest of the team's players, but will the computer also make changes from one season to the next?

Thank you as always for helping us all to understand your fantastic game better!!

Have a nice weekend
Ken Russo

The computer always transfers and changes the first team squad, the tactics of the team. It doesn't matter if the players are fantasy players or not. If you define at least 11 players there won't be any additional fantasy players. If you have less than 11 defined players the computer will add fantasy players.

But the teams will always change sooner or later. They have a youth squad and as soon as there are youth players they will move them to the professional squad. Also older players will end their career sooner or later.

Thank you Andreas for your explanations.

So if I am understanding you correctly, I can create a league and define the names of the players on each team, and then as the seasons progress the computer will be able to make changes to the squads?

If yes, this is exactly what I am looking for in a simulation!
