Since I've been asked where to find my descriptions of career examples and hardly any people find it on the second page of the old forum I've decided to report it again:

My solo player career. I played as a 16 years old striker in the C-Klasse (that's the 12th German division). I was quite successful there (since I've been playing AOCS for a very long time:) ) and soon got offers from higher divisions. After some seasons, with 21 or something, I got an offer of my favourite team (Nuernberg) in the Bundesliga. In the first season I was able to prevent them from relegation. In the second season we got a new player from the youth team, a very skilled attacking midfield who played behind me as playmaker. We were pretty successful and reached an rank in the EURO cup (or EUFA cup;) you know what I mean:) ). But then the youth player got a good offer from Hamburg and he was sold for a very high value and I got an offer from Ajax where I had the chance to play in the Champions Cup (you know what I mean:) ). We rocked the Dutch league, but in the Champions Cup we lost against Juventus in the quarter final and I was sent off. After another successful season I didn't renew my contract and got back to Nuernberg for free. I've played 23 times for Germany in the career with 26 years, but without any big success in the national team.

Then I'm playing another career together with my cousin. We started at Regensburg in the Regionalliga (German division 3). He's playing striker, me attacking midfield. We didn't start with youth player skills but some higher skills and played very well at Regensburg together on one team. Then both of us got offers. Both from different teams in the 2nd German division. Both teams were on good positions in the league, rivals for the promotion. We accepted the offers, but it was quite strange to play against each other and everybody in his own team. But no-one of us was able to promote with his team. At the end of season my cousin was 1 point behind, me 3. For him it was a duel until the last match day, I lost two weeks earlier and had no chance anymore.

After some matches in the following seasons we both got an offer from Spain, from Getafe (2nd division in Spain). We accepted and play now again on one and the same team. Matches for the national team has none of us. But who knows ...

Both careers are real AOCS careers and every word I've written is true and happened..

I hope some of you will take a closer look on the game. I'd like to build about a fan community and try to etablish a new soccer series.

Greetings,
Andreas

Good thing i kept a log of the goings on in my first career (well the first one longer than a season that is ;o) ).

I have roleplayed it a little, so not everything is taken from the game (like discussions with the boss, clubs pressuring me to leave to give them money and so on.)

I started in Div 5 Sweden as a youth but immediately got contracted to the German 11th division. This is where my career started off.

The name "Zlatan Jönsson" is ofcourse a mix between my own name (N.Jönsson) and the best striker in the world, Zlatan Ibrahimovic)

The Career of Zlatan Jönsson

Season 1

Zlatan gets picked up by Rotenburgar SV in Germanys 11th division.

First game cup prelims 1 vs SV Waldof Mannheim (1:2 aet).
The opposition is from one division above and it shows in the beginning.
Mannheim takes an early lead and the game looks lost when substitute
striker Zlatan Jönsson gets a lovely pass from playmaker Zoltan Melcher
and calmly puts the ball into the far side of the net out of reach from
the keeper. 1-1 Jönsson 80 (Melcher). Jönsson has scored on his debut!
The team is still under preassure and the game goes to extra time.
10 minutes into it Zlatan gets his second chance and bends a beautiful
shot wich hits the far post and Melcher launches for the rebound and
scores! The goal is disallowed for a foul by Melcher. The game ends in
the 116th minute as a defensive misstake lets Mannheim score.

Two rounds to go 1p clear of relegation.

In the next to last game Zlatan is playing lone striker since
Randy Berntsen is suspended, he plays a great game hitting the
post twice in the first half. At the score of 0-0 the manager
out of the blue decides to take him off despite his 7 rating
to replace him with the reserve goalie. Needless to say the
game is lost and the situation is critical. Zlatan calls his
manager a moron in the media. Nevertheless Zlatan is still picked
for the last game of the season. Still sitting just one point
clear of relegation the game is crucial and against the worst
team in the league, already relegation bound Bad Kreuznuch.
Zlatan is sure his time in the team is up after the humiliating
substitution and his contract is running out. He secretely eyes
a move to Vitoria Guimaraes (POR) or Djurgårdens IF (SWE) who looks
to qualify to play in the Euro Cup. Partner Randy Berntsen is back
for the last game of the season and the two make a pact to go out
with a bang, since Randy also wants to try playing at a higher level.
Unfortunately star player Melcher is suspended for the game and it
looks to become a real thriller. The kick off is close...
Kreuznuch play 5-4-1 and their defense seems tight but Ramon
Spethmann is winning the battle on midfield for Rotenberger. It's
still goalless at half time. In the 49th minute Spethmann wins the
ball in midfield and slots a perfect throughball to the feet of
Zlatan Jönsson, he takes a few steps into the area before blasting
the ball past the keeper! 1-0. Spethmann scores a longshot in the
61st and Rotenberger stays in the division!

Several teams has benn interested in Z.Jönsson: Cottbus, Djurgården,
Ankara,Guimaraes,Armina Bielefeld,Academicu and Denzilispor.
Rotenberger SV proposes he stays with an icreased wage from 8 to 10
per month. Zlatan declines, wanting desperately to advance his career.

There are several offers from various clubs, even from Klasaröd, swedish
division 6, who offers a wage of 0....
The best offer is from Vfr Neumunstar in the 6th Division in Germany,
offering a wage of 240. Since Neumunstar only has one striker in their
squad, it fits Jönsson perfectly. He moves to Neumunstar.

Season 2 start:
Zlatan debuts wearing nr 9 against St Pauli A in the Cup. the game
is lost 1-0. In the first league game of the season is brilliant
making both assists in a 2-1 win. 1st Goals is scored in the 4th
Game against VFC Plauan (inc 2 assists).
Unfortunately Zlatan is injured in a 0-0 draw in week 19 and is
out for 7 weeks. This is the first major injury of his career.
During the injury the manager sells anchorman Sven Krauss and loses
several games in a row. From having been 1p below promotion the
team was now fighting against relegation. At the time of Jönssons
comeback the team is instead 1p clear of relegation. In the stands
now is among others scouts from Lazio...

Saving the season

After 9 games without a win, Zlatan singlehandedly wins a game for
his team with a hattrick against Ismanong (3-2). Zlatan is picked
as the man of the match! The next game is won 1-0 with Zlatan
assisting Marcus Huesers for the goal. Z.Jönsson has revived the
sleeping team! They stay clear of relegation. Jönsson has become
the brightest shining star of the team winning the internal scorers
table by 8 points! He made 24 points in 30 games and a lot of eyes
are on him for the post season transfer period.

Off Season
Zlatan decides once again to sit his contract out and look for better
offers. He is hoping to get a 1st division contract in any of the
leagues. The bid comes after he has turned a few cheap moves down.
Legendary swedish team Malmö FF makes a 1 year offer and Zlatan jumps
at the chance!

Season 3
He is the only contracted striker in the squad, the only
other striker is out of contract and waiting to leave. Zlatan is
immediately made first choice striker. Malmö has their spending pants
on, signing 3 other players in midfield. The two top signings is
israeli M C Shuki Badash with 10 caps / 6 goals for Israel. Just days
before the premier, Malmö decides to sign Luton striker Terence
Curle. The manager opts for only one striker and Zlatan is left on the
bench. After the first game, a dissapointing 0-0 draw, the manager
decides there is room for two strikers in the first 11. Zlatan plays
against Halmstad away and scores Malmös first goal of the season on
a rebound after Badash hit the post! The game ends 2-1 for Malmö.
Unfortunately the club and Kristian Fribock, the third striker, agrees
on a contract and suddenly Zlatan is on the bench again.
However Zlatan still gets to play occasionally. He comes on in both
Euro Cup qualification games scoring the only goal in the 1-0 home win.
The rest of the season is boring except for the clubs success in the
Swedish Cup wich Zlatan has very little influence in. Things seems to
turn when he rates 9 against Sundsvall scoring 2 goals, but he is
brutally cut down after 70 mins leaving him in despair. After the game
it is concluded he is ok enough to play the next game. He is thrilled!
He is now the second striker without a doubt and looking forward to the
rest of the season. But the rest of the season is much like the first
part. Jönsson spends most of his time on the bench waiting for another
chance. When time comes to play the Swedish Cup final he is not even
in the squad. Once again dissapointed at the outcome of his season he
decides for a third time: enough is enough. Malmö wins the Cup and since
he did play some cup games he gets a medal. But his time in the club looks
to be coming to an end!

Off Season:
Z. Jönsson has progressed alot in training and hopes for a contract at a club
where he can play regularly, preferrably a slightly lower league.
Zaglebie Lubon seams to be the perfect solution, playing in the Polish first
division wich is slightly lower standard than the swedish and having only
one striker who is uncontracted. Instead of buying players Zaglebie is
releasing several players. Good for playing chances, not so good for team
strength.

Season 4:
1 goal and 1 assist in the first game against Widzew Lods sets off whats looks
like a good season! After 7 rounds they are still unbeaten. Zlatan has scored
11 goals! They are the only unbeaten team, and Z.Jönsson tops the scoring table
in poland! With three rounds to go Lubon is top along with two other teams who
have the same points. Lubon draws 0-0 with 3rd placed Legia Warzava while KZSO
win to go top by two points. In the next to last game Zlatan scores to keep
Lubon in the running but gets hurt doing so. He is out for the last game of
the season wich will decide the league! Lubon wins 4-0 and it is down to KZSO
to win to defend their lead. It looks bad for Lubon as KZSO scores after 5 mins
but brighter again as Polonia equalise in the 19th. Shortly after the break
however KZSO's best goalscorer Moroch scores to put them top again! It looks
bad for 30 minutes, BUT, in the 78th minute Polonias Emmanuel Wolczek saves
Lubon with another equaliser! Lubon are champions by goal-difference thanks
to Zlatans amazing 40 goals in 26 league games! Zlatan Jönsson is voted player

by 7 goals.

Off Season:
Zlatan wants to stay since he has 2 years left on the contract and looks
forward to playing in the Champions League. Napoli and Hammarby makes the
first offers and although they want to pay higher salaries, Zlatan declines.
If he moves it will be to a club that plays in Europe. Swedish champions
Örgryte IS comes in with an offer. They are offering a higher wage and also
a fee off 1.700.000 for Lubon, who wants the money and thus Zlatan to accept.
He decides to think about it for the week he is given. A few more swedish
clubs make offers, but Zlatan decides it is best t move to Örgryte to play
in a better team in the Ch. League. The decision from Lubon to release
Thomas Seweryn on a free is also a factor, he was an integral part of the
team and without him Zlatan feels the team is chanceless. He is rated at
560.000 in Sweden and is the second best striker in the squad.

Season 5:
Zlatan debuts against National Bucharesti from romania in the euro quals.
Örgryte are favorites but go 1-0 down in the 69th minute. Zlatan scores in
the 76th to get them level and Jonas Pilfalk hits the second 3 mins later.
He scores 2 in the return meet and they are through to qual 3. In the next
league game Zlatan singlehandedly turns 0-1 into 2-1 against Djurgården.
The fans are warming up to their new hero! Banik Ostrava is next in the
Champ. League. They are favourites and scores two goals at home. BUT!
Zlatan scores 4 and Örgryte win away 4-2. The group stage is near...
In the return meet Jönsson scores a hattrick and creates a penalty and
the final score is 6-0! Örgryte has made it to the groups! Zlatan is
enjoying playing for 30000 instead of a few 1000's like before. The first
game in the Champions League groups takes them back to earth. Outplayed
by Southampton they loose 4-0 and has to hope for atleast a few points.

I started off as a 16 year old M C with no club, then went to Rusheden & Diamonds. Got promoted in the first year, then mid-table in D2. In the third season about half-way through we were fighting relegation as the manager had sold all our good players so I asked my brother to join in as a FC. We avoided relegation, and in the fourth season we're just over half-way and 2nd in the league. I've got 10 goals so far & my bro's got 24.

The Zlatan jönsson saga continues with euro goals and a few caps!

Season 5:
Zlatan debuts against National Bucharesti from romania in the euro quals.
Örgryte are favorites but go 1-0 down in the 69th minute. Zlatan scores in
the 76th to get them level and Jonas Pilfalk hits the second 3 mins later.

In their second group game they manage a hard fought 1-0 win against
Proodeftitko. The last team in the group is FC Shalke 04, german champs
and one of the best teams in the game. Örgryte quickly goes 1-0 down and
it looks like another Southampton game. But the german defence looks shaky
and Örgryte equalise in the 26th minute. The germans are pressing furiously
but Örgryte holds on. In the 71st minute there is a counter attack, a
scramble in the box and Zlatan gets the ball, rounds the keeper and puts it
away! Örgryte wins 2-1! Z.Jönsson is the man of the match! Fc Bayern scouts
are watching Zlatan play... Against Southampton away Örgryte makes an heroic
performance! Zlatan scores after 5 mins but Southampton equalises and takes
the lead before half time. In the 79th Zlatan equalises and Örgryte take a
point against THE best team this season. Now a win against Proodeftitko will
secure their place in the quarter finals.

Facts about Southampton:
2 players > 30 million, 5 players > 20M, 5 players > 10M, 3 players > 8M
All contracted players in the S-hampton squad are worth more than the best
player in Örgryte.

The game against the greeks is boring and ends 0-0 but it doesn't matter as
Southampton beats Schalke and Örgryte are through even before their last
game against the german side! Against Schalke who now have no chance of
progressing Zlatan scores another two goals and Örgrytes fantastic euro
record stands! They finish 2nd in the group 2 pts behind Southampton. In the
next round Örgryte will play Malaga C.F. The swedish league is going worse
while Örgryte concentrate on Europe. They are only 7th in the league.
Örgryte manage to hold Malaga to 0-0 in Spain and can concentrate on winning
at home. In Sweden the spanish play to win and Örgryte are as usual under
pressure. Zlatan breaks and creates a corner in the 54th. When it is taken
there's a foul in the box! Zlatan easily puts it away. A few minutes later
the spanish, now pressing even more, make a defensive mistake! Zlatan is
suddenly 20 metres clear of the defense. He calmly rounds the keeper and
scores! 2-0! Örgryte are through to the quarter finals! Things are looking
up in the league but their position is still shitty. However Zlatan is now
just two goals below the top scorer with 18G in 19M. The semi final in the
CL is against Barcelona, the reigning champions. The experts all agree: this
is the end of the line for Örgryte. In the preparations Örgryte notice that
the FCB sweeper is very slow and sees this as their chance. In the 9th minute
Zlatan rounds the keeper but hits the post! Ralf Oslislo scores on the
rebound! FCB pressing hard gives Zlatan lots of space. He scores a hattrick
and sets up Oslislo for his second. 5-0 for Örgryte! The experts all go into
hiding and the football world is shocked. In the media Zlatan Jönsson is
hailed as the emperor of europe and the game is referred to as the miracle in
Gothenburg. Zlatan takes a look at the Sweden squad and notices he is in the
starting eleven. Too bad there is not a game for a few weeks. FCB get their
revenge at home, but they only win 3-2 and Örgryte are through to the semis.
Zlatan scored both goals. Southampton awaits in the semis. This time the
experts are certain again. Örgryte can never do it again. Unfortunately they
are right. 2-6 at home in the first game. Zlatan scores 2 but it desnt matter.
In the next league game Jönsson scores again as Örgryte loose yet another game.
The day after the game Zlatan Jönsson gets the call that all footballers want
to get. He is playing against Russia in Swedens next friendly. Sweden wins it
3-2 and Zlatan assists the first goal. The return game against Southampton is
lost 2-0 and Örgryte are out of the cup. Zlatan is picked again for his
national team to play against Uzbekistan. Zlatan scores a hattrick and is the
man of the match. Sweden win 3-0. The last game of the season is the Swedish
Cup Final. But Örgryte loose against Halmstad and leave the season without
any silverware. Zlatan gets some though being chosen player, striker and top
scorer of the year in Sweden. Southampton win the CL.

The Zlatan Jönsson story continued.

Season 6:
Zlatan scores his first 2 goals in the cup and his first league goal against
FC Schalke (1-0). He is still a ghost for the Schalke defense. He gets his
third cap in Swedens first qualifier against Finland. He scores the first
goal in a 3-0 win. Finland play 6 defenders, 3 DM's and 1 AM... no strikers!
The next qualifier is away to Spain. It's a boring game and Sweden looses
3-0. In the league the team is doing so-so. Zlatan is third in the scorers
table and the club is mid-table. Next in line in the world cup quals are
Poland away. This game is a key game for Sweden if they want to qualify with
Poland and Spain being the only threats. Zlatan scores in the 7th minute and
Patric Guiomar scores nr 2 in the 43rd to give Sweden a 2-0 win! the league
is going better and Zlatan is scoring in every game. He is naturally picked
to play against Azerbaijan in the WC Qualifiers. It is Swedens 3D-3M-4A
against Azerbaijans 5D-3DM-1M-1AM. The Azerbaijans are prepared to defend but
their plan is shattered after only 7 mins when Hellman scores for Sweden.
Zlatan Jönsson scores in the 50th and Hellman another goal for a 3-0 win.
Kaiserslautern makes Zlatan happy by signing his friend in the Swedish
national team, Bovar Jönsson, from FC Bayern. Zlatan is happy to play in front
of his friend also in the club. Bovar has played behind Zlatan as an AM C in
all of Zlatans 6 caps so far. It is also a signal from the club, now 2nd in
Bundesliga, that they mean buisness and are challenging for the title. This
season has seen the club really making an effort to find the right players
for building a successfull side. First of all the swedish national team duo
of Zlatan and Bovar, but also Russian veteran midfielder Omargadji Nebosev
(22 caps) from uralan Elistu and English wonder-kid 16 year old Benn Cass,
rated at 5M, from Arsenal. A free transfer from Lokeren also looks good.
Laurence Laksiri, also rated at 5M, an 18 year old right back from Belgium.
The first game with Bovar and Zlatan is a 7-1 thrashing of Dortmund. Bovar,
Zlatan and Cass gets 10's. in the next game Zlatan scores 2 but is injured
creating a penalty late in the game. This means he will miss the quals
against Israel. Sweden win anyway 3-1 and are still on track for the WC.
Poland beats Spain and it looks like the home game against Spain will decide
who reaches the World Cup without a playoff. Zlatan is lighting up the league
as Kaiserslautern are chasing Hansa Rostock at the top. After 18 games Zlatan
tops the scoring table with 34 goals... Now Finland is due for another beating
in the qualifiers. Zlatan scores early (9 min) to give Sweden the lead but
Finland equalise immediately (13 min) and shocks Sweden. Zlatan scores his
second shortly after (18 min) but the finnish battle bravely and hits the
post twice in the second half before Zlatan completes his hattrick in the 86th
minute to secure 3 points. Spain also wins and the next game, at home against
Spain, will decide the group for sure. Zlatan is ofcourse in the team but
Bovar, just back from injury, is only on the bench. The game is close but Spain
manage to go 1-0 up through Rodrigo Palon in the 62nd minute. Things are
looking bad. But Sweden put up a fight and Zlatan forces an equaliser in the
69th minute. Spain start pressing high and this gives Zlatan space. He
completes a hattrick within the next 13 minutes. Sweden are 3p clear at the top
and heading for the World Cup. Now all that remains is to beat the last three
teams. Sweden can even afford 1 draw and still win the group. Sweden win easily
against Poland 2-0 with Zlatan scoring from a penalty in the 74th minute to
kill off the game. Against Azerbaijan Patric Guiomar scores a hattrick and
Zlatan scores one and assist one to give Sweden an easy 4-1 win. The last
qualifier is against Israel and Sweden need atleast a point. The game is close
and nervous. It is still 0-0 at half time. Nine minutes into the second Zlatan
breaks away and rolls 1-0 into the net and Sweden are through to the finals!
Lots of injuries are destroying a league season that looked great. Only 1p in
the last two games and now Kaiserslautern are playing "with the knife at their
throat". Another draw against Freiburg (1-1) and they are most likely out of
the title race. The next game is against Rostock in 2nd place (ks are 3rd).
The last game between the teams was very close (0-0). this game is different.
Knowing what is at stake K'lautern play a fantastic game winning 6-0 with Z.J
scoring 5 and assisting the 6th. Hamburg (1st) loose their game and for the
first time K'lautern are top of the table! The win is darkened by the loss of
starlet Ben Cass to injury. It is unlikely that Cass will play anymore games
this season. The next to last game is against 1860 Munchen. It's a really close
game but Zlatan manages to score a freekick in the 40th minute. They know that
Hamburg is also ahead in their game and a win is important. K'lautern fight
bravely but in the 87th minute Munchen equalise and the league medal seems far
away. In desperation they throw everyone forward and in injury time Zlatan gets
the winning goal! The last game is against Herta Berlin. Four teams can still
win a very close league. K'lautern, Hamburg, Rostock and Schalke are within 2p
of eachother for the last game. After scoring 2 goals Zlatan is taken off with
an injury at half time. the score is 4-0 and things look good. But as Zlatan
goes off the rest of the team gets the shakes. Within the first 14mins of the
2nd Half Berlin score 2 and the nerves are back. But K'lautern hold on and win
4-2. The league title is theirs! Zlatan is again voted player and striker of
the year. Ben cass is 3rd in striker of the year. Zlatan is also the top scorer
in germany.

Off Season:
The only offer that can lure Zlatan away is from one of the clubs with perfect
reputation. There is good hopes for K'lautern in the champions league. The
work for building a good european team continues at K'lautern. First in is
Camilo Ismael, a 22 year old striker with 19 caps for Portugal (8.8M). Next is
Boris Saghes from Inter. He is a 29 year old MC with 7 caps for italy (6.3M).
There is a problem though. All the old players are unhappy with their wages and
the management makes no effort to raise them. Left midfielder Thorge Dahms is
the first one to get tired of the low wages and promptly leaves for free when
the chance arises. He is quickly replaced with Brazilian Clésio de Andrade
(4.1M).

Just had to post after the epic season I played yesterday.
I was a bit disapointed after watching Scotland & Wales bottle in IRL yesterday, so I thought I'd load up Championship Soccer to make myself feel better by winning when I actually had control of the results to some extent, if you know what I mean...

Anyway, before I loaded it up I was 13 games into season 6.
I started off as a Central Midfielder, because you get more involved in the play this way, with low pace, cos otherwise its a bit too easy.
I started off at Hornchurch in the lower English leagues, before moving to 1st division Wigan Athletic midway through season 2. After helping them stay up in my first year there, the next year we suprisingly won promotion. In season 4 the Wigan manager brought about 30 new players (I was the only player left from the promotion campaign) and we made it into the UEFA Cup + I got English player of the year.
In season 5 things didn't go so well, Wigan were midtable & I realised I had to move to a bigger team to get into the England team for the forthcoming European Championships(I was in the squad, but hadn't been capped. So I moved to Atletico Madrid with a couple of months of the season to go. First game went well, scoring the opener in the derby victory over Real, and then again scoring at Old Trafford in a 1-1 Champions League QF. However, I was suspended from the return & without me the lads lost 3-0. League form also petered out, I think we only won 1 of our last 10 games & finished midtable out of the European places. But, thanks to Steven Gerrard's injury, & Jermaine Jenas' suspension, I finally won my first England cap in the last group game, keeping my place as the English took the trophy home for the first time in history.

Season 6 hadn't started off too brightly, which was probably why I hadn't loaded the game up for a couple of weeks. After 13 games Atletico had only 14 points, and after being suspended for being sent off I was even left on the bench for a couple of matches.
However, after the Atletico manager bought Craig Bellamy and re-picked me things started to change for the better. In my first game back in the starting XI, I scored a 1st-half hat-trick in the 7-0 demolition of Real Socediad for my first goals of the season. The team then went on an amazing run, losing just once in 22 games, including a 4-2 win over Real, and a 6-0 win over then leaders Bilbao, to get in the champions league places.
Then, in match 36 a costly 2-1 defeat at Espanyol after being 1-0 up put us into 5th place. Although the team recovered to win the last 2 games (including a 7-1 thrashing of Barcelona) , we agonisingly stayed in 5th place to miss out on the Champions League. The annoying thing is, had we beaten Espanyol we would have actually won the league!

To cap it all off, England also failed to qualify for the World Cup, finishing third behind Switzerland & Croatia. Although I was only picked for the last 2 games with Gerrard suspended, I have to take my share of the blame for failure to beat Malta at home in the last match, although I did get man of the match.
I scored a couple of belters in the victories over Bilbao & Barcelona, a delicious lob, and a long range screamer into the top corner, which I've sent to Andreas if anyone's interested in viewing them.
(by the way Andreas, one thing I've noticed which is a bit annoying, is that teams often seem to change kits for no reason. I think Atletico wore their first choice kit (red & white stripes) only about 5 times all season! Is it possible to fix this?)

Zlatan Jönssons career continues...

Season 7.
In a fury over the neglection of wage raises Zlatan scores all 5 goals in a
league cup thrashing of Schalke as K'lautern win 5-2. Ismael makes 2 assists
and Saghes 1. The team brings in a new right winger. Sydwel Abrahams is a South
African with 17 caps (3.9M). He is 27 years old. Zlatan is now the only one
in the squad that has not gotten a contract he likes. The final is lost 1-2
against Hannover with Zlatan scoring the goal for K. It is a really bad game by
the team. The low wage pisses Zlatan Jönsson off. He declares he will leave as
soon as someone makes an offer. Zlatan is injured for the first cap of the year
(Sweden beats finland in a friendly, 4-2) and the first CL game (0-5 vs Juve).
The opposing teams now know about Zlatan. He comes back to play against Skoda
Xantho in CL but has to go of injured again in an abysmal 1-1 draw where Skoda
equalise in the 91st minute. It's another 3 weeks on the sidelines for Zlatan.
He misses yet another CL game, a 5-0 win over Hamburg. He comes back to the game
against Oberhausen in the League where he scores a hattrick in the 3-2 win.
K'lautern draw 2-2 with Juve in italy and Zlatan scores one of the goals. In the
fifth group game they play Skoda Xantho again and win 3-1 with Zlatan scoring a
hattrick. All goals were assisted by Abrahams. This win secures their place in
the next round. K'lautern goes top in Bundesliga in a very strange match where
they beat Herta Berlin 7-5 after being down 2-1 and 3-2. Zlatans next game is a
internaional friendly against Angola. Sweden win 4-0 but are not playing at their
best. Zlatan put on a show though, scoring all 4 goals. In 5 days (wednesday to
sunday) he has scored 13 goals. But as a whole they'll have to improve for the
world cup! The squad is starting to take shape and both Zlatan and Bovar are set
to go to the WC. In the last CL group game Zlatan scores early to give his team
a 1-0 win against Hambur. K'lautern go through and Hamburg are out. Hamburg have
a horrible goaldifference of 8-22 and are last in the group. Strangely enough
K'lautern are drawn against Juventus in the second round (BUG!). It will be hard
to progress. K'lautern loose 0-1 at home to Juve in the first leg and are in need
of a miracle in Turin. Man of the Match is Juve's star-keeper Donleben, the dutch
national team goalkeeper. Zlatan is injured again, and misses the german cup
quarter final. Replacement striker Ben Cass saves K'lautern on a pass from Saghes
as they win 1-0 and are in the semis. The away game against Juve is a real nail-
biter. Zlatan misses a sitter in the 5th minute and Flavio Patacas give Juve the
lead in the 9th. Zlatan equalise in the 31st only to have Patacas score a second
in the 34th. The reply is immediate as Zlatan scores his second in the 35th. It's
2-2 at half time. I the 61st Zlatan gets a third and now K'lautern are through.
But, Blanchelli wishes differently and scores 3-3 in the 71st minute. Zlatan gets
his fourth goal at 75 mins to make it 3-4 and send Juve out! In the quarter finals
Celta Vigo is waiting. The third int. friendly of the year is against Azerbaijan.
Sweden win it 5-1 with Zlatan scoring 3, but Sweden could still finish better than
they are. Two more friendlies before the world cup to practise. It is time for
quarter finals in the CL. The away game against Celta starts badly with Celtas
english striker Ijah Glynn scoring after 34 minutes. But Zlatan shoots perfectly
from 25 yards in the next attack and equalise. The spanish mount up a massive
pressure but thanks to Steele the scottish goalkeeper K'lautern are kept in the
game. After seventy minutes the Celta defense make a bad mistake after a punt by
Steele and Zlatans picks up a stray pass and slots it in! 2-1 for K'lautern. As the
pressure gets even worse Zlatan counter attacks a third in the 83rd and the game
look won. But Celta have not given up as they draw one back in the 86th through
Saldaña. But Zlatan gets the last laugh as he finishes the game off in overtime on
another break. 4-2 for K'lautern. Boris Saghes will be out for the second leg coz
of a sending off in spain. He is also sent off in the league against Koln sending
him to the top of the discipline table! K'lautern go on to the German cup final
after beating Dortmund 4-1 courtesy of a Zlatan hattrick! Saghes suspension and the
surprising sales of Bovar Jönsson and Nebosev puts the manager in a tight spot for
the game against Celta at home. He has to play Gerhard Radius in the central mid-
field position. Radius is a 20 year old former youth player for the club who is out
of contract and has only played 3 games in his career for the club since he was
promoted 2 years ago. Celta rule midfield completely but are stunned in the 20th
minute as Steele finds Zlatan with a long goalkick in space between defense and
midfield. Zlatan quickly asses the situation and bends it perfectly from 30 yards
of the far post and in. As so many times before the opposition goes on an uncon-
troled attaking spree and leaves the backdoor open for Zlatan to use... five times.
6-1 is the final score and K'lautern are in the semis! In the semis they, like
Örgryte two years earlier, face Southampton. In the league game against Oberhausen
Zlatan scores his 100th goal of the season! But Saghes gets himself sent off again
and Zlatan is furious with him. With Radius in the team they loose a game and the
league is getting close. Saghes is back for the semi against Southampton and gets
booked immediately. Zlatan scores two before getting hurt and loosing pace. The
english draw one back late but K'lautern win 2-1 away. Zlatan misses the next cap
for Sweden because of the injury. It has been an injury ridden season for him. They
beat Ghana 2-0. While Zlatan is out Camilo Ismael secures the league with 5 goals
in the game against Shalke. With Zlatan injured and Saghes suspended K'lautern have
a hard task in the second leg of the CL semis, but they manage a 0-0 draw and are
in the final! Zlatan Jönsson is back for the final friendly before the world cup.
Sweden beat Hungary but only by 3-2. Hopefully they will still be in form for the
World Cup. The league is won by 8 points and they are champions again! Zlatan has
scored 60 league goals winning top scorer by 32 goals! Another cup final for Zlatan
as they take on Hamburg in the German cup final. Zlatan scores two early and the
game looks easy, but he gets hurt and looses speed. Hamburg manage to get a goal in
the 86th minute to put some nerve back in the game but sub Abrahams scores in injury
time to give K'lautern a 3-1 win. Cup Champions! Next is the last club game of the
season, the CL final against Newcastle. Before it, Zlatan recieves his normal
awards: Striker, Player and Top Scorer of the year in Germany. The game is closely
fought with Steele making some incredible saves from english shots and Saghes mis-
sing an open goal after Zlatan has set him up. It goes to extra time. Newcastle
score first in the 96th and it looks bad. But Zlatan scores in the 101st and the
game is alive! He manages a second before half time (104th) and completes a hattrick
in the 114th minute and K'lautern are Champions of Europe.

World Cup Season 7.

Swedens squad looks as follows:
1. Fredrik Liedholm, GK, 29yo, 4.2M, FC Shalke (35 caps)
2. Conny Majstorovic, DR, 23yo, 6.5M, FC Barcelona (32 caps/1 goal)
3. Christoffer Johansson, DL, 30 yo, 5.3M, Newcastle United (44 caps/1 goal)

12.Robert Eriksson, MC, 30yo, 2.8M, Hamburg (8 caps/1 goal)
13.Henrik Ståhl, GK, 28yo, 3.2M, Genclerbirligo (5 caps)
14.Mikael Larsson, DC, 25yo, 1,5M, 1860 Munchen (1 cap)
15.Johnny Andersson, MC, 24yo, 3.6M, Blackburn (20 caps/4 goals)
16.Toni Ståhl, FC, 24yo, 2.8M, Malatyaspor (5 caps/1 goal)

The first group game is against Israel, Zlatan scores a hattrick as Sweden win 3-0.
Results:
Sweden - Israel 3-0 (3-0), Jönsson 7,20,29.
Japan - Mexico 0-1

In the second game they face Mexico. Erik Marstedt is banned so Johnny Andersson
takes his place in the starting XI. His place on the bench is taken by Daniel
Pettersson, MC, 27yo, 5.3M, Modena (35 caps/3 goals). It is a tight game, Zlatan
manages to score early in a goalmouth scramble to give Sweden 1-0 but Máñez gets
the equaliser in the second half. Patric Guiomar pounces on a rebound from Zlatans
shot for 2-1 but Marroquín sets the final result to 2-2.
Results:
Mexico - Sweden 2-2 (0-1), Jönsson 17, Máñez 49, Guiomar 52, Marroquín 69
Israel - Japan 2-1

Last group game is against Japan. A draw is enough to secure a place in the next
round. The team is the same as against Mexico, except for the omission of Mikael
Larsson from the bench. In his place is Jon Backlund, DC, 25yo, 2.9M, Diy..irspor
(8caps). The game is as easy as expected. Zlatan scores 2 and sets up Guiomar for
a third. Japan score a consolation goal late in the game but it has no effect on
group placings. The joy is dampened by the fact that Majstorovic is injured in
injury time (ironically) and may miss the next game.

Results:
Japan - Sweden 1-3 (0-2), Jönsson 15,40, Guiomar 74, Sawanoboro 84.
Israel - Mexico 0-1

Table:
Sweden +5 7p
Mexico +2 7p
Israel -3 3p
Japan. -4 0p

Sweden is drawn against Brazil in the second round and a miracle is needed. Brazil
won all their group games beating England, Argentina and Russia. Majstorovic is
out because of the injury and the new right back is debutant Matias Jonsson, DR,
23yo, 830K, Malmö FF (0 caps). M.Larsson is back on the bench instead of Backlund.
The game is completely different from what anyone expected. Zlatan score an early
goal from a defensive mistake. He is in the wall for a Brazilian free kick minutes
later. The ball hits the wall and ends up with Zlatan. He sends a perfect ball for
Guiomar up front. Guiomar keeps hold of the ball waiting for support. He spots
Zlatan who has run the lenght of the field to get in position and hits a perfect
through ball. Zlatan rounds the keeper and scores again! The Brazilians keep
pressing but Liedholm sends the ball up with a goal kick. J. Andersson wins the
ball from a brazilian defender, plays it square to Guiomar who strikes it perfectly
and scores the best goal of the tournament wen he bends it in off the woodwork
where the bar meets the post. Sweden lead 4-0 at the break and win 7-2 in the end.

Results:
Sweden - Brazil 7-2 (4-0), Jönsson 8,12,33,56,65,89, Guiomar 26, Poioco 59,

Italy - Holland 3-0 (2-0), Bidese 37, Belleri 40, Piovani 60.

U.S.A - Scotland 0-1 (0-0), McCrindle 86.
Germany - Spain 1-0 (1-0), Hartung 39.

Portugal is next for Sweden. The team is the same as against Brazil. After 2 mins
Zlatans fellow K'lautern player Camilo Ismael score for Portugal. Sweden are
shocked! But Zlatan scores the equaliser in the 8th minute and Guiomar give Sweden
the lead 2-1. Albergaria scores before the break and it is 2-2 at half time. Camilo
Ismael score early in the second and then goes to defend. Sweden can't break the
compact defense. It is the end of the line.

Results:
Portugal - Sweden 3-2 (2-2), Ismael 2,51, Jönsson 8, Guiomar 30, Abergaria 34.

Season 8 of the Zlatan Jönsson saga...

Off Season.
Zlatan wants to be better paid. But he also wants to see what K'lautern sign for
the next season to see if they can compete in Europe again. He also has hi mind
set on helping Sweden qualify for the Euro Champs in the next season. Lots of
good players are signed. Zlatan finally gts his raise to 42.000 a week (from
15.000) and is happy at K'lautern again. As a replacement for Bovar J, Sven-
Tobias Gebhardt is brought in as AMC. 25yo J.L Carreño is brought in to play
along side Saghes in midfield, and Radius is thrown out. Soares Sampaio is bought
from Köln as DL. The new setup leaves brazilian WC player Andrade on the bench.
It looks like a very strong team.

Season 8.
K'lautern start with beating Hannover 2-0 in the league cup. They also win the
final after a bad start against Freiburg who scored 1-0 early. K'lautern had
Coslowski sent off (central def in 3 back line) but Cass blasts an equaliser of
the bar and in from close range and then Zlatan scores a free kick to give them
the lead and later he finishes the game off with a simple diagonal close range
shot. Zlatan scores the only goal in the league premier against Bochum and then
the offer of a lifetime comes. Arsenal signs Zlatan for 70.000.000 giving him a
slary of 69.000. It's the premier league for Zlatan! He is in the team for the
first game (LC against Gravesend) but it is a strong squad and he will have to
play well to stay in the first team! It takes Zlatan 16 minutes to score his
first goal for Arsenal and another 16 for the second. He ends up scoring a hat-
trick in the 3-1 win. Hilko Veldmann, the worlds mots valuable player at 35M, is
sent off in the game. Arsenal has the 3 most valuable players in the world (the
other two being Harana DMC 31M and Braceras FC 30M). ZLatan is the 10th most
valuable player in the world but still only the 5th most valuable in Arsenal. He
is only the third best striker in the squad after Veldmann and Braceras. Harana
and Braceras used to play in Southampton. With the adition of them and Veldmann
from Alaves, Arsenal has passed Southampton as the best team in the world. But
Braceras is out injured for another 2 weeks, hopefully Zlatan can prove his
worth to the team in that time. Zlatan prepares for his first game in the
premiership, a London derby against West Ham! Zlatan assist Veldmann for the
first goal before Veldmann is taken off coz of a bad injury. Foley comes on and
Zlatan assist him for the second. Arsenal win 2-0. Arsenal sign MC Kirk Stowell,
with 58 caps and 18 goals for England. He has been without a contract for several
seasons but is instantly valued at 35M and thus Arsenal now have the 4 mvp's.
They also sell 12M rated FC Elliot Staniford, who is only the 5th striker in
Arsenal, even though he would have been the 2nd overall player in K'lautern. It
is now time for the first EC qualifier. The Sweden manager opts for 4-3-3 giving
room for Thommie Gustafson (FC, 24yo, 3.0M, FC Köln (7 caps/1 goal)) up front.
Also new since the WC is Magnus Johansson (DC, 24yo, 12M, Mallorca (44 caps). The
game is away against Bulgaria. Always a dificult game. Sweden win 4-2, Zlatan
scores a hattrick and creates the penalty from wich Guiomar score the 4th. A good
start to the campaign. Zlatan scores his first 4 premier goals against Newcastle
in the next game and proves he can cut it in a squad with an accumulated 637 caps
and 131 international goals. The Arsenal squad is worth a closer look:

Arsenal season 8
1. Erik Saifulin (RUS), GK, 23yo, 23M, 50 caps
2. E. Raine (ENG), DC, 31yo, 7.9M, 0 caps
3. Barry Valeriani (ENG), DL, 24yo, 24M, 35 caps
4. Allan N. da Silva (BRA), SWC, 24yo, 24M, 28 caps
5. Rosario Furios (ITA), DC, 26yo, 18M, 55 caps
6. Urtiz R. Harana (SPA), DMC, 25yo, 31M, 60/4 caps
7. Demirhan Abdurrahim (TUR), AML, 23yo,23M, 50/20 caps
8. Bisi Flain (ENG), MR, 31yo, 15M, 41/4 caps
9. Zlatan Jönsson (SWE), FC, 23yo, 25M, 20/39 caps
10.Kirk Stowell (ENG), MC, 25yo, 35M, 59/18 caps
11.Hilko Veldmann (GER), FC, 25yo, 35M, 53/28 caps
--------------------------------------------
12.Chris Ziehl (GER), GK, 29yo, 15M, 67 caps
13.Lenual Whitmarsh (ENG), ML, 31yo, 11M, 13 caps
14.Erén A. Braceras (SPA), FC, 24yo, 30M, 39/28 caps
15.Charley Cavall (ENG), FC, 36yo, 1.4M, 6 caps
16.Rowan Foley (ENG), 24yo, 10M, 0 caps
XX.Roger Sutherland (SCO), GK, 29yo, 14M, 61 caps

Outside the first team there are mostly promising youngsters and as you can see
the scottish national veteran keeper Sutherland with 61 caps. Zlatan is injured
in the next game and out for 4 weeks and thus misses the next EC qualifier against
Israel. Sweden win anyway, 5-1. Zlatan comes back to score a hattrick and to be
injured for another two weeks. Zlatan is doing well and scoring a lot of goals but
he is often injured and thus misses also the next EC qualifier. Sweden loose to
Italy away, 3-2. After scoring 7 goals against Manchester United, Zlatan is fit
for the next qualifying round. Unfortunately Sweden sits out this round and the
comeback will have to wait. In the 16th game of the season Arsenal loose their
first league game against Sunderland, who play 6-4-0 and win 1-0. Arsenal keep
winning after this dissapointing loss and are ahead 16p at half season. It is
time for Zlatan to make his international comeback after two games of injury related
abscense. Sweden are to play Hungary away in the qualifiers. Sweden score early as
Johnny Andersson hits a good longshot. But Hungary equalise and Sweden cant manage
a second goal. It ends 1-1. Zlatan is injured again against Brighton, three weeks
on the sidelines. He comes back to score 4 goals against Wolves as a warm up for the
qualifier against Bulgaria. Zlatan misses a penalty early but still hits 4 goals as
Sweden win 4-1. Arsenals second loss in the league comes in game nr 24. They are
still 15p clear with 14 matches to go. The competition in the squad is hard and not
everyone can play up front, so Zlatan has to play the FA-cup QF in midfield. He
makes an assist as Arsenal win 2-0 and is awarded a surprising 9 rating for his
display in midfield. He gets another game in midfield against Bolton. He scores a
penalty as Arsenal wins 3-0. He is man of the match and gets a 10 rating. Zlatans has
not scored much in the league lately but he still holds on to the top of the scorers
table. Against Israel in the next qualifier however, he scores a hattrick as Sweden
win 4-2. Next up is the LC semi final against Southampton. Even if they are not as
fantastic as they used to be they are still a formidable opponent. They also have
one of the best strikers in the game, Kalam Mouldon, who strikes twice to put Arsenal
out of the cup. The old Arsenal keeper Roger Sutherland keeps his old team mates from
scoring. 2-0 for Southampton. For the next game, Zlatan, who is completely out of his
scoring form is put in midfield again. Arsenal win but Zlatan only gets a 7. Things
have to start picking up if he wants to win any awards this season! Zlatan keeps
playing in midfield and Arsenal have major trouble scoring. They loose 0-2 to Walsall
and suddenly the league is not so won yet. It is time for the second leg of the LC,
still with Zlatan in midfield. Zlatan is hurt early in the game but fights well in
midfield. As Southampton scores in the 80th minute Zlatan is taken off. The aggregate
score is 3-0 and Arsenal is out. It's Kalam Mouldon again. Zlatan is injured for a
week in wich Arsenal makes a horrible appearance loosing 3-1 to Preston. For the
qualifier against Italy Zlatan is strangely enough not picked even if he is the most
valuable Swedish player. Sweden loose 1-0 and will have to qualify to reach the EC.
Zlatan keeps Arsenal on track by scoring the only goal against Chelsea. Zlatan is
banned for the FA-Cup semi but Arsenal still pull through. Things look up as Arsenal
take their revenge on Southampton 4-0 with Zlatan scoring 1 and assisting 2. But he's
also injured and out for the next game. In the 35th league game Zlatan secures the
league title by scoring the only goal of the game against Sunderland. With one game
to go and the league won Zlatan leads the scoring table by 5 goals, it looks like he
can win it again. He has two more mvp awards than the closest so that is settles
already. Sweden prepare for the last qualifier against Hungary with Zlatan back in
the squad. It is unimportant since Italy is 8 points ahead and Israel 4 behind.
Sweden will have to playoff anyway. Zlatan scores another hattrick and assists guoimar
for one and his old friend Bovar finishes Hungary off.. 5-1 for Sweden. He gets to
finish the league in midfield. He is alittle nervous because his contract is running
out and Arsenal have made no effort to resign him and he wants to stay. The last game
is lost, 2-0 but it doesnt matter as Arsenal win the league anyway! He is chosen as
midfielder also in the cup final. It is against Southampton for the 5th time this
season and it is a tight game, deadlocked for 76 mins until Zlatan comes on a Freddie
like run from midfield and lunges for the same ball as Veldmann and a defender. Hilke
and the defender both go down, the ball goes loose, Zlatan calmly roles it into the
empty net! Arsenal are Cup Champions! Zlatan is (not sursprisingly) Player, Striker
and Top Scorer of the year in the Premier League. That's five years in a row! He
scored 39 league goals in just 25 matches. Good for the first season in the P-league.
Only the EC playoff left in the season now. Sweden against Ireland. Zlatan scores an
early goal in Ireland to set the pace but then he is injured and subbed off. Sweden
win 3-1 and the return game 2-0. It's off to the EC for Sweden!

Off season:
Zlatans contract runs out and Arsenal do not wish to renegotiate. Zlatan is also
doubtfull of staying since he did not like spending half the season in midfield. He is
looking for offers of clubs that have a chance against Arsenal. Southampton come in
with a bid for Zlatan. They have a good squad and came 2nd behind Arsenal in the league
and will thus play the CL. Zlatan would be almost guaranteed to play in attack in this
team. He makes the move.

Season 9
Southampton also sign his old friend from K'lautern, C.Ismael. Zlatan is now worth 10M
more than Ismael so he is not really a threat. The manager still decides to play Zlatan
Mouldon and Ismael up front in the first league game vs Tottenham. Southampton win
easily 5-2 with Zlatan scoring 4 and assisting Mouldon for the 5th. Meanwhile Arsenal
surprisingly loose 4-0 against West Ham. It's a good start of the season. Zlatan keeps
banging in the goals including 4 goals in the CL opener vs Man City. He gets all 10's
and doesnt loose or draw a game up to the first international against Belgium. Sweden
field a few new prospects. There is a debutant GK, Anders karlsson, GK, 22yo, 1.8M,
Enköping SK (0 caps). There is also brothers Andreas (Ascoli) and Thomas (Frankfurt)
Anttonen with only a few caps. And another debutant up front, Andreas Stenman, FL,
25yo, 2.9M, Perugia (0 caps). The first half is goalless and it is the first time this
season that Zlatan leaves a half without scoring. For the longest times it looks like
his first goalless game of the season but in the 80th minute he dummies the best RB in
the world, Aissa Trimpont, and scores the only goal of the game. It is however his
first non 10 rating of the season. He gets an 8. The 7 straight 10's is still a
personal record (and probably world record). Zlatans goal record of 7 goals in a game
has been standing since he was at Örgryte even though he has equalled it about 10 times.
There seems to be a 7 goal curse. But at last, against Rotherham he scores 8 goals as
they outgun the poor 1st division side by 8 goals to 1. Against Chievo in the CL Zlatan
scores an early goal to give S-hampton the lead. Mouldon scores a second to make it 2-0.
Then Zlatan is sent off for the first time in his career after two yellow cards. Chievo
win 4-2. With Zlatan banned and Mouldon injured along with england international mid-
fielder Hawes and veteran back Heddle for the second EC game against Mn City S. narrowly
escape with a 1-0 win through a goal by 18yo right midfielder Denise Trego. The 14th
league game of the season is against Arsenal. Zlatan is eager to prove he has made the
right choice in leaving them. Heddle and Hawes are still out but Mouldon is back.
Arsenal, on the other hand, is missing Stowell (injury). It is a tough game, lots of
tackles and not many chances. Zlatan has the first shot on goal after half an hour,
shooting from long range into the hands of Erik Saifulin. it is 0-0 at half time. In
the 52nd minute Zlatan plays Melo in space and he shoots, Saifulin can not hold it and
Zlatan gets to the rebound first! 1-0 for Southampton! Zlatan has a good chance in the
64th minute shooting an angled shot from the edge of the area but it goes out of the
near post. In the 85th he looks to finish of the game as he rounds the keeper but an
amazing tackle by the 17yo superstarlet defender Will Lillis keeps Arsenal in the game.
It ends 1-0 however and Zlatan is happy to have proven himself against his old team.
Zlatan scores 4 in the next league game and then secures their place in the CL quarters
with a hattrick against Udinese. But late in the game he is injured and will be out
for 4 weeks. He misses Swedens 2-0 loss to Italy and can only watch as S-hampton loose
the lead in the league and gets knocked out of the cup by Fulham 1-0. When Zlatan
returns they are 1p behind Everton and have lost 2 games, won and drawn 1 each. At half
season it still looks good for Shampton. They have a two point lead in the league over
Everton and Zlatan has scored 46 goals in his 13 league games. The manager sells Mike
Bowater who has made 42 caps for england. Apparently he puts alot of faith in young
Denise Trego, the other MR. With Zlatan back S-hampton take a relentless revenge on
Fulham for the cup loss, 7-0. They grab a comfortable lead in the league and looks like
champions, but then disaster strikes. Zlatan, Melo and Hawes are all injured for 5
weeks. In the meantime S-hampton plummet from 5p clear to 6p behind Everton. When
Zlatan comes back he immediately win a game for southampton scoring the only goal
against Birmingham. But he also throws away the league with a needlessly harsh tackle
that gets him sent off and banned for 1 game. He plays in the CL QF against Lazio. It
is an amazing game. It ends 4-4 with Zlatan scoring 3. It is not good for SH though,
letting in 4 goals at home is never easy to overcome away. Zlatan has now scored over
500 goals in his career and won more than 100 MoM awards! There is another fantastic
game against West Bromwich, who take a 2-0 lead in the first 6 minutes. SH score two
in the next 13 mins making it 2-2 after 19 mins! It ends 8-3 for SH. The away game
in Rome is up next, SH needs to win to stay in the CL. It starts badly. After 36 mins
it is alreay 2-0 for Lazio. But Zlatan manages a goal before the break. In the 66th
minute Zlatan find another goal and it is all square, but Lazio is still through on
away goals. It looks like the final result until the 87th minute when Zlatan completes
his hattrick to send SH through! The fans are still chearing as Tammaro grab an
equaliser in the 93rd minute and SH's european dream is over! It's time for an
important game against Arsenal. SH trail Everton by 3p and is 2 ahead of Arsenal before
the game. Arsenal score early but Zlatan equalise. Then Zlatan is injured but keeps
playing. Braceras score early in the second and it looks bad until the 88th minute
when Zlatan has been subbed of and Ismael score an equaliser! But just as in the CL
a tired defence can not stand the pressure and Veldmann score again in the 92nd minute,
3-2 for Arsenal and third place for SH. With Zlatan inujured and Melo suspended for
the next game SH still manage to oust Derby by a single goal scored by Ismael. SH sign
Oreste Testi from Roma. The italian with 19 caps is a MR and will strengthen the
midfield considerably. They still loose 3-0 to Brighton and it could be the nail in
the coffin for SH. Although they have won 8 titles (2 CL, 2 CUP, 4 LC) they have never
won the league (4 or 5 second places). It looks like they'll have to wait for next
season! As usual Zlatan misses out on the friendly because of injury. Of the 4 games
this season he's only played in 1. He is back to score a hattrick against Sunderland
to revitalize SH bid for the title. With 3 points to Everton the next game against
the leaders is essential. There is one game left after that and if SH win then there
is still a chance of nerves in the last game. SH has Ashton and Ismael injured.
Everton has star sweeper Ahlemanov suspended and will play with a 3 back line. That's
good for Zlatan! On the day of the game it's snowing, but the pitch at Goodison park
looks in great condition. The first 25 minutes is Evertons and SH cant even borrow the
ball. But as som many times before Zlatan scores on a breakaway in the 26th. At the
same time reports come through saying Abdurrahim has scored 1-0 for Arsenal (still 1p
clear of SH). Zlatan scores again 5 minutes later and it's only another 4 until Kalam
Mouldon adds a third. It's 3-0 at half time for SH, and 2-1 for Arsenal. Everton draw
one back early in the scond half. After 70mins Arsenal score 3-1 and at the same time
the SH defence again starts to buckle under the pressure. But SH hold on to the 3-1
scorline but can only watch as Arsenal run away with a 6-1 win over Fulham. With a
game to go it's Arsenal 72p +31 then SH 71p +58 and Everton 71p +31. Zlatan is back
in the national team for the last warm-up game before the EC. Sweden win 5-1 against
Northern Ireland and Zlatan scores 3 and assist 1. The other two are scored by Guiomar
who also assists 2. It is also an impressive performance by 19yo Johan Persson who
assists 2 goals from midfield. Just one game between Zlatan and the EC now. The league
deciding game. SH plays Wolves at home, Everton play Tottenham at home and Arsenal
have to take on Man City at highury. Everton is missing Boyrazm the turkish int. and
Lenagh, their right winger. Arsenal is missing Stowell (35M) and sweeper da Silva
(28M). SH howevere has a full squad to choose from. The game starts in a furious
tempo, Ashton scores after 4 mins. After 11 mins there is a report that Everton has
scored vut as long as SH win that is unimportant. Zlatan scores a second after 13 and
right now SH are champions since Arsenal has 0-0 draw. But in the 17th min Braceras
cores for Arsenal and it's back to second place for SH. Zlatan scores another 2 and
SH win 5-2 but are dissapointed to have lost the league title... but as they walk of
the pitch the scoreboard suddenly change! Ercetin Tolunay has scored for City in
injury time and handed SH the trophy! League champions for the first time!
Zlatan can travel to the EC with a light heart! The day after the game Zlatans fanclub
the "Zlatan Worshippers" (members are ofcourse Zlatanists) dance on the streets of SH
and the board hand him a new contract wich tripples his salary to 150000 a month!
As always he is handed awards as top scorer (80 league goals), best player and best
striker in England. Also veteran keeper Sutherland beats out Saifulin for the price
as keeper of the year. His old club K-lautern win easily in Germany and Zlatans
replacement, Rodrigo Palon, is player of the year.

European Championships Season 9.

Swedens squad looks as follows:
1. Michael Eriksson, GK, 22yo, 4.2M, Empoli (2 caps)
2. Conny Majstorovic, DR, 25yo, 6.5M, FC Barcelona (50 caps/2 goals)
3. Andreas Anttonen, DL, 26yo, 1.8M, Ascoli (6 caps)
4. Daniel Pettersson, MC, 29 yo, 5.1M, Milan (41 caps/3 goals)
5. Thomas Anttonen, SWC, 24yo, 3.8M, Frankfurt (15 caps)
6. Magnus Johansson, DC, 25yo, 13M, Sevilla (58 caps)
7. Dennis Farnerud, MC, 26yo, 6.4M, Real Sociedad (31 caps, 3 goals)
8. Patric Guiomar, FC, 24yo, 10M, La Coruna (58 caps/38 goals)
9. Zlatan Jönsson, FC, 24yo, 26M, Southampton (27 caps/54 goals)
10.Johan Persson, MC, 19yo, 5.5M, Hammarby (3 caps)
11.Thommie Gustafson, FL, 25yo, 3.7M, 1.FC Köln (12 caps/2 goal)
-------------------
12.Kristoffer Redo, MC, 25 yo, 4.4M, Hansa Rostock (19 caps/2 goals)
13.Anders Karlsson, GK, 22yo, 1.8M, Enköping (3 caps)
14.Max Ale, DL, 23 yo, 3.2M, Ancaraguci (4 caps)
15.Erik Markstedt, MC, 28yo, 5.8M, Chelsea (30 caps/2 goal)
16.Andreas Stenman, FL, 25yo, 3.1M, Perugia (4caps)

The squad looks like it has a good balance between young and hungry players and
older more experienced players. It also has the beneift of one of the stongest
striking teams in the world with Zlatan Jönsson and Patric Guiomar. Sweden are
opting for a 4-3-3 formation in the opener against Slovakia. Slovakia should
be an easy task for Sweden. They have only one class player, Jan Mentel (9.6M)
right back for Juventus. It is a rather easy game although Slovakia puts up a
good fight for about half the game. Sweden win 5-2.

Slovakia - Sweden 2-5 (1-2) Zlatan 2,20,53,62,74; Rusnak 42, Drobnak 58.
Finland - Holland 0-2 (0-1)

Next game is against Holland. They are a stronger opponent but has mysteriously
put their biggest star Linskens (ML, Barcelona) on the bench. Sweden fields the
exact same team as against Slovakia. Sweden get another easy win. Zlatan scores
a hattrick. When Linskens come on after an hour it's already to late.

Holland - Sweden 0-4 (0-3) Zlatan 12,36,62, Guiomar 38.
Slovakia - Finland 1-1 (0-1) Suchanek 66; Hahto 45,

Johan Persson is banned for the next game so Erik Markstedt comes in to the team.
Johan has also signed for Hannover 96. On the bench instead of Markstedt is
portugese midfielder of the year Mikael Pettersson. Sweden has secured a QF place
and can play calmly against Finland. Guiomar has obviously not heard the calmly
part as he immediately upon kickoff steals the ball from a defender and blasts
the ball off the bar then post and into the goal. He may not score as often as
Zlatan but he scores the best goals. Finlands 6 back line is reduced to 5 as the
sweeper gets sent off but so is Swedish veteran Johansson who gives away a penalty
in the process. Hautakoski puts it away easily. There is still hope for finland if
they can beat Sweden. They are close to taking the lead when Hautakoskis shot hits
both posts before a defender can clear it. But after 85 mins Zlatan finish of their
dreams with a 2-1 goal before being subbed off. In comes Stenman who adds a third
two minutes later.

Finland - Sweden 1-3 (1-1) Hautakoski 30; Guiomar 2, Jönsson 85, Stenman 87.
Slovakia - Holland 2-0

Slovakia Joins Sweden in the playoffs, In a most unsuspected way, namely as their
opponents in the QF! Now the UEFA guys making the seedings had apparently smoked
pot before making up the seedings, atleast that's what Swedens biggest and most
crappiest newspaper Aftonbladet says. With Johansson suspended for 2 games Jon
Backlund takes his place. Apart from that it is the same team as against
Finland. Sweden win again 4-2 but it is close as they give away 2 easy goals
in the second half but Zlatan sets up Guiomar for Swedens 4th and the victory is
never really threatened.

Slovakia - Sweden 2-4 (0-2) Drobnak 60, Fabula 87; Zlatan 4,57, Guiomar 6,89
Croatia - Spain 1-3 (0-1) Bilobrk 77;Alberdi 18, Borau 61, Fontanellas 83
Turkey - Russia 2-1 (1-1) Soysal 3, Abdurrahim 52;Kondratskiy 6
Italy - Austria 3-1 (3-0) Piovani 16,43, Cucchi 33; Schüttengruber 60

Sweden takes on Italy and Spain faces Turkey in the Semis. Johan Persson is
back and Daniel Pettersson is out of the team. Replacing injured Backlund is
another youngster, 19yo debutant Anders Jensen from Djurgården. He has just
finished his first full season as a professional after having been promoted
from the youth team last year and is now playing in the EC semis! He's only
played 37 games in his career! Italy are a great team and show it instantly.
They outplay Sweden and score three times the first hour. It looks like it's
all over for Sweden. But then Zlatan manages to score in the 73rd minute on
Swedens first real chance. He gets another after 81 mins. Could Sweden make
a magic recovery? Italian star player Piovani says no and finishes the game
of after 84 mins. Sweden is out.

Sweden - Italy 2-4 (0-1) Piovani 11,66,84, Nista 63; Zlatan 73,81.
Turkey - Spain 0-1 (0-1) Borau 1

Final:
Spain - Italy 1-2 aet (0-1,1-1) Saéz 20; Nista 75,97.

Season 10 (finally)

Off Season:
Alot of world class players are running out of contract and it is a tugofwar
between Arsenal and Southampton for the best of the best. Zlatan is also out
of contract but gets a payrise to 190000 and will stay for as long as he can.
It is really silly season as Arsenal snatch Piovani for free from under SH's
nose and they retort by getting Pacifico Nista from Roma. de Melos contract
has run out and Arsenal sign him. In his place SH get Verissimo a portuguese
international veteran (60 caps). They also strengthen the backline with
Orlando Filomena (50 caps for Argentina) and Henry Hills (DL, 6 caps for
England). In midfield there's De La Cal with 35 caps for Spain and Cavalheiro
with 29 caps for Brazil. In comes also Bertie Prior a MR with 2 caps for
England. With Nistas arrival (33 caps, 22 goals) Mouldon is on the bench
along with Ismael. There is going to be competition for the places this year!
SH has a fantastic 260 caps sitting on the bench! But also 433 caps in the
first team.

Season 10
Zlatan is picked to play along side Nista in the first game. Mouldon and
Ismael are both on the bench. Opponents are Gillingham. The new lineup is an
immediate success as Zlatan scores 3 and Nista 2 and Gillingham loose 6-1.
Everton win comfortably but Arsenal loose 0-1 to Chelsea. But arsenal usually
start slow. There is a bit of an upset as West Ham looses to WBA. It is widely
thought that WH will be hard to beat this year after a good finish to last
season. First league cup game is a tough one against Newcastle. It looks good
until Zlatan, Nista and Filomena all get injured and SH looses 4-2. Ismael
moves back to portugal for lack of gametime. In the first wc qual game Sweden
wasily beat Wales 3-0. Zlatan scores 1 and assist 1. In the league Zlatan gets
sent off for two yellow cards, but SH still win the next game 6-2. The next
qualifier is against Latvia, wich should be an easy game. But it starts badly
as latvias Lukashevich score already in the 4th minute. Latvia immediately
pulls all their men behind the ball and sit back to defend. The swedish fans
look forward to a difficult game. But already 20 mins later Zlatan uses his
speed to break into the area past the tight 6 man defence and blasts the ball
past a stunned keeper! He scores 3 more and Sweden win 4-1. Nista has been
benched in SH for Mouldon. Zlatan hits 6 in the cup against Oldham and assists
1 as SH cruise through the second round 8-1. Next up is CL groups away to
norwegian Rosenborg. As soon as the game gets going it is clear that Rosenborg
have no buisness in the CL (as everyone knows, norwegians cant play football
;o) ). Zlatan for the first time experience a double digit game as SH obliterate
the norwegins 10-1. Zlatan scores a 4 minute hattrick (20,22,24) turns it into
a quattrick in 8 and a quintrick in 25. He scores 7 of the goals. Almost 43.000
people turned up to see their heroes get humiliated. For the first time now
Zlatan tops all the player toplists, including disciplinary points. In the
second european game SH play Mallorca and win a hardfought 3-2 victory with
Zlatan scoring 2 of the goals. In the other game Rosenborg take an early lead
and hold it for 30 minutes until the portuguese equalise late in the first. Still
it is 1-1 at the break, was the big loss against SH just a bad day? Well, in
short, no. Beira run away to an easy 7-1 win during the second half and the RBK
supporters are in tears. SH picks up their first league loss in game 9 after
having lost a 2-0 lead against Lpool loosing 4-2. Simon Madge makes a stunning
performance for Liverpool. Sweden then plays N.Ireland in the WCQ. N.I go out
guns blazing and Sweden is stunned by their display. They give away a penalty
after 17 mins but N.I misses it. Only four minutes later Byrne scores for N.I.
It is 1-0 at half time. Sweden try and try but can not break the defence until
after 87 mins when Zlatan finally equalise. Against Beira in CL SH win easily
4-1 and top the group half way through. Mallorca score 4 against RBK in the first
half and then take the foot of the gas in the second. 2-21 is RBK record after
half the group games. Morecombe is next in the english cup, the midtable
conference team go down 8-0. Game 11 of the league and Arsenal at Highbury. It
is, as usual, the clash of the titans in england. Braceras scores early to give
Arsenal the lead, and when he pounces on Veldmanns rebound in the 51st for 2-0
the game looks lost. But as they draw back to defend SH get more room to attack.
Zlatan grabs a 9 minute hattrick (68-77) and SH win 3-2! Due to an injury Zlatan
misses Swedens qualifier against Luxembourg. They win it anyway, but with only
1-0. Still injured he sits on the bench as SH take on Rosenborg again as SH has
monumental injury problems. SH manage a 2-0 win, not very impressive considering
Rosenborgs class. Zlatan comes back to score two as Aston Villa go down 4-0. In
the same week mystery team West Ham crush Arsenal 5-0. Belgium is next in the WCQ
and a win against them would make Sweden likely candidates to go through. Sweden
go for a 4-3-3 formation and the third striker is 22yo debutant Pär Stenman who
has just transfered from Hässleholm to Schalke. It is a fantastic game for the
fans that has everything. Zlatan score an early goal (14min) and a few minutes
later the worlds best right back, Aissa Trimpont (29M), make a cardinal error of
passing into the middle of defence where a surprised debutant puts it into an
empty net! Lobijn draw one back before Trimpont is caught napping again as
Guiomar send him to stands for hotdogs and scores 3-1. After 44 mins Max Ale cuts
down Lobijn in the area and is sent off. Devrindt makes no mistake from the spot,
3-2. Right from kickoff Zlatan makes a one-in-a-million solo run, it's 4-2 at half
time. Second half starts off with Zlatan bending a shot into the far corner for
5-2 and the game looks like it's over. Devrindt hasn't gotten the message and
scores a cracker from 35 meters. Then Zlatan is slightly injured as he is fouled
in the area and a belgian defender is sent off. Guiomar misses the penalty and the
belgians counterattack and Lobijn scores 5-4 with only 7 minutes left. In injury
time Zlatan (now very slow) finds Stenman on the wing with a perfect sweeping ball.
Stenman dummies his defender and sends in a perfect cross for Guiomar to head home!
Sween win 6-4. Stenman scores 1 and assist 1 in his debut and is very happy! Zlatan
however gets his first serious injury of the season and is out 3 weeks. After the
first half of qualifiers only 1 team in europe has won all their games. Is it
Spain? England? Germany? France? no, it's.... Malta! Zaltan misses the last CL game
against Beira-Mur but it is unimportant anywaysince they are through after a 6-0
thrashing of Mallorca. It's 4-0 SH anyway. Rosenborg finish on a 3-32 goal-
difference but they still get 3p since they manage a 1-0 win away to Beira. In the
last game though, they are humiliated 9-0 by Mallorca. After his return Zlatan gets
injured for another two weeks. It seems his injury period this season has started!
SH still wins the games without him and at half season they are top of the table
with only 1 loss. 4p behind is WBA, 3p behind them is Newcastle and a further 7p
behind is Arsenal. The italian DC Archimede Flaminio (28M) is released by Malaga
and snapped up by Souhampton. In the same day Zlatans friend Patric Guiomar is
bought by Barcelona for 15M. Wales is easily brushed aside 4-0 since Zlatan scores
a hattrick and assists Stenman for the 4th. Stenman has scored in both his first
caps! What a find. Zlatan is banned for too many yellows in the next league game.
Newcastles contarct less MR Serge-Patrice Cisshoko (25M) also signs for SH.

[continued]
The
team is starting to look unbeatable. The first game of the CL second round is
away at Empoli. SH win 1-0 after Zlatan has been injured as he was brought down
in the area. De La Cal puts the penalty away. SH manage a 4-2 win away to WBA and
extend their league lead. Un fortunately he is injured ofr the qualifier against
Latvia. Sweden draw 3-3 and loose another 2 points in the race for the wc. They
are still 1p ahead of Belgium though. SH has had a comfortable ride in the FA Cup
ip until then QF where they face Brighton. It is a close game and it looks even
harder when Carvalho gets sent off late in the first and the first half ends 0-0.
5 mins into the second Zlatan score the first goal but Brighton immediately reply.
But in the 72nd minute De La Cal scores off a rebound from a Zlatan shot and 3 mins
later Zlatan scores again to finish off the game. Former SH player Testi gets a
consolation goal in injury time. SH win 3-2. In the semis they ill play Arsenal,
always a tough game. Arsenal has started winning regularly in the league lately
but are still a staggering 24p behind SH. 70.000 people then watch SH beat empoli
5-0 to go to the CL QFs. Zlatan may miss another WC qualifying game because of a
two week injury sustained in the game. In the same game Mouldon gets a 3 week
injury and SH are left depending on 19yo striker Willy Faulkner (300k). He saves
them in his first start for the first team, scoring the only goal against Hotspurs.
Zlatan does miss the next qualifier but Guiomar and Markstedt manage goals as
Sweden beat N.Ireland 2-1 and stay top of the group. Zlatan comes back to score a
hattrick against Liverpool. SH draw Arsenal in the QF of the CL. Comparing the
teams player for player Arsenals all-star squad should be a formidable opponent,
but as a team they are 24p behind in the league. SH win comfortably 4-0 in a very
tough game with lots of injurys, among them Zlatan. Valeriani is sent off for the
foul and Zlatan takes his revenge on sweeper DA Silva, badly injuring him and
recieving a yellow card. This means he is banned for the away game. It's another
2 weeks on the sidelines wich rules zlatan out of also the next WCQ. His teammates
easily beat Luxembourg 5-0 and Wales help them out by beating Belgium 3-1 away.
Sweden have qualified. Along with Sweden a few other teams are qualified before
the last round of games: England, Germany, Italy, Spain and Malta! When Zlatan
comes back from injury it is time for Arsenal again, in the league. SH win again,
5-2 this time. This is Arsenal second consecutive loss in the league and they are
now 30p behind SH in the league. SH is top of the table by 13p and there can be
no doubt about wich is Englands best team. Zlatan inuures himself during a 8-1
thrashing of Newcastle and thus misses the semi final against Arsenal. Verissimo
scores the only goal and SH are in the final! He also misses the next league game
in wich they can secure the league title. Pacifico Nista steps up to the plate,
scores two and SH are 16p clear with only 5 games to go! The injury keeps him out
of yet another qualifier, this time it is unimportant since Sweden are already
qualified. His teammates crush Belgium 7-0 and the group is won by 7p. As a
celebration of their superiority the manager opts for only two defenders in the
next league game and gives nista a chance to shine along side both Zlatan and
Mouldon up front. It's a success and Man C is beaten 4-1. But Zlatan is injured
yet again. But the injury turns out to be minor and he is fit for the next game.
In the semis of the CL SH take on Mallorca. Zlatan scores two at home and SH win
2-1. But it is an expensive victory. Injuries to DE La Cal and Flaminio and a
red card for Verissimo is bad news for the away game. In the return game
Verissimo is suspended (and also the final if they get there) and Filomena is
injured. Otherwise everyone is fit and ready. There's also a bit of a surprise
as Mouldon is on the bench as the coach favours Nista. Nista thanks the coach
by scoring 1-0 immediately, set up by Zlatan. He then assist Zlatan for the second
and Zlatan score 3 more. The game ends 5-3 for SH. It is Zlatans first CL final
with an english team. He won it once with Kaiserslautern. In the last league game
of the season SH play Everton, who lost the other CL-semi by a single goal and
it's a rout. 6-0 for SH. SH win the league by an amazing 24p. They are 34p infront
of Arsenal. Next up is the english cup final, against W.B.A. Always a difficult
game. SH goes for the 3 man attack again, in a cup final. SH do their duty and
Zlatan Jönsson does his. He scores a hattrick in the 3-0 win. 2 goals assisted by
Nista and the third on a penalty created by Nista. They have a great collaboration
going. Cup champions and one game away from his second Super Tripple. The CL final
is against Bologna. They have a fairly good team and the SH manager plays only two
forwards, Zlatan and Nista. Zlatan gets the same old prices as usual (striker,
player and top scorer). Young Pär Stenman is third in the vote for striker of the
year in Germany. Bilmis Muhamet, the 18yo turk in Beira-Mur, wins it in Portugal.
Maybe it is time for portugal to give him his first cap? He has scored 31 goals in
36 games this year. SH is playing his competition in turkey, Cubuku Soysal who
plays for Bologna in the CL final. SH have Adzic inujured and Verissimo suspended.
Bologna has no important suspensions or injuries. It is a close game but clinical
SH finishing gives them a 2-0 win. Zlatan scores the first and sets up Nista for
the second! Super tripple again for Zlatan!

Always great to read your stories. They are the best programming motivation for CS2 :)
